Blessing of the Pets

All animals are invited to a blessing service to honor our relationship with all of god's creatures. We extend a special invitation to all shelters and those working with animals in need of a home to bring their pets so they may benefit from the event.

The best way to honor the past and prepare for the future is to live deeply in the present moment. Join us on Oct 10th at 7PM as we celebrate 8 years of the Community Growth Center. This is a chance for all of us that have been part of the CGC over the last 8 years to gather together and share in the collective energy of peace, healing and community that we have all been blessed to participate in. It will be a simple gathering, allowing us time to meditate and share together with light food and refreshment afterwards. If it has been years since you have been to the CGC or you come regularly - all are welcome!

Peace Be With You: Cultivating a Peaceful Heart and a Peaceful World

Westhampton Beach, Long Island
Retreat will begin at 7PM on Friday Nov 3rd and end at 3PM on Sunday Nov 5th.
A peaceful world starts with a peaceful heart. How do we change the world for the better, without it changing us for the worse? The path to creating positive change in the world is by making sure our actions come from an overflow of love and peace within our own heart.
Join the Community Growth Center community on our 3rd annual fall weekend retreat. The theme this year is "Peace Be With You". Through meditation, prayer, group teachings, creative expression and the love of community we will practice cultivating a peaceful heart and exploring how we can share our peace with the world.
We can only transform the world around us to the extent that we have been transformed. We invite you to give yourself the gift of peace and transformation and join us on retreat.
Retreatants will sleep over at the retreat house.
To help cover the cost of food and accommodations the cost of the retreat is $250. If you need financial support please let us know. We are able to help make sure no one is denied attendance due to financial circumstances. To Register please complete form and put in $250 into the "free-will offering" box.
