Connecting to Ourself and Nature

Nature

Group Shot at Healing Power Workshop

On April 30th we joined the Garden Ministry at St. Joseph in Brentwood for our Healing Power of the Natural World workshop. This workshop focused on connecting with ourselves and nature. The day started with a mindful eating exercise, followed by readings and discussion on expressing ourselves mindfully through poetry. We then spent time walking with nature and writing what came to us. The day concluded with each particpant sharing the poetry they wrote.

We were so moved and inspired by the poems each participant wrote, that we asked their

Bees swarming, working, buzzing bring out all my fears”

Grateful for the warm sun on my face,
